Welcome to FACCSD. There is plenty of support out there.
It is not shameful to use them
You need help to be able to look after the person/persons you are caring for. There are organisations that will give you support and advice which can also be used to help sufferers, family members and friends. They will support you during times of crisis and find necessary information for you, which you may require as a carer.
We recognise the cultural needs of sufferers of Dementia. We know how stressful the condition can be.
We know the shame and Myth that surrounds the condition. We know that because of lack of understanding of the condition, families are sometimes torn apart and sufferers are sometimes incorrectly treated.
We understand we care. We understand the needs, language, culture music, smell and the lingo of people with dementia. We have been in their time and place.
All our staff are CRB checked. We are registered with CQC and have a 3 star excellent rating.
This website will give you comprehensive information and guidance on how to deal with dementia
Please do no hesitate to contact us if you need help.
